You should use the Library Catalog to search for books and ebooks. You'll find information about books located on the shelves of the library, and also thousands of ebooks that you can use online, whether you're located on campus or off campus.
Books are arranged on the shelves by the Library of Congress Classification System. Each book has a call number assigned to it so that you can easily find the book on the shelf. This means that if you find a useful book, it may be worthwhile to browse the books near it on the shelf, because these books may also be relevant to your research.
If you would like to borrow a book from the library's collection, you should take it and your Stevens ID card to the Circulation Services desk, and the attendant will check the book out to you.
If you're specifically looking for ebooks, you may want to go directly to the databases that contain ebooks.
All of the ebook databases are listed alphabetically within the Online Resources list.
It may also be useful to browse the list of resource guides to view library resources specific to your academic subject area.
Ask a librarian if you have any questions. We are happy to help!
